This walk links two of the ancient towns of Sussex along tracks and paths that have been in use for generations and updated to include walking Rye to Hastings.

It is one of the most picturesque and historic routes in the South-East of England and reflects the changing coastline and the threat of war, a stretch of sea that has long been England’s defence against invasion.
Two walks, one easier and the other more challenging, with pubs along the way and a bus to get you back to Hastings or Rye.
